Change of name

Good day to whoever stumble upon this blog.

Previously, this blog was called "Justice For Sarawakian", and has been dormant for quite a while.   I have decided to change it's name to "Theory Of Zero" for reasons known to myself.   I think that's not a big deal.   With the rebirth of this blog, I hope to put forward quality and meaningful postings.   For the sake of all.  We deserve what is rightly ours.   Has been sick with all kinds of injustice befell us.

Hope to get feedbacks from whoever share the same sentiment.

Does Naim Cendera really care?

Does NC really care for the welfare of the road users traveling along Mukah-Selangau Road? What has happened to their “We Care Campaign”? It is actually a well orchestrated gimmicks backed by political motives. An average man on the streets knows what they are up to. What they really care about is the profits, the rest go to HELL.

It is learned from reliable sources that, for the daily maintenance of the road, NC are paid RM8,000 per day. Whether the works are done or not, that amount are still paid. That is the main reason why they delay the completion of the upgrading. The longer time they take to complete, the more money comes in. The faster time to complete this project, less money comes in, as simple as that! Even a toddler knows how to do the calculations.

Gawai Antu or "Nyungkup"

Gawai Antu or commonly referred to as "Nyungkup", as the name suggests, is a kind of festival to comemorate the dead or the final festival celebrated for the spirit of the dead. The Iban believes that, unless Gawai Antu is celebrated, the spirit of the dead is not yet settled or not peaceful in "batang mandai". The spirit would always come back unless the festival is celebrated. Normally, Gawai Antu is celebrated a few days after the main Gawai Celebration. The family of the deceased take advantage of the Gawai Celebration to celebrate Gawai Antu since this is the only time when most if not all the longhouse folks are coming home, hence more merrier.

Friends and relatives are notified and invited before hand to make sure they are able to come. A day before the festivals, the host prepare various types of foods for the visitors or "Pengabang". In the morning the "Pengabang" will come in big groups to visit them and they are always ever ready to receive them or "Ngalu Ke Pengabang". Traditionally, when the visitors arrived, the ceremony wll be started by performing a "Miring". But nowadays, since most of the Ibans embrace Christianity, they start the ceremony by reciting a prayer instead.

JPJ Bintulu should improve their counter services

On 11-05-2010, I made a complain regarding JPJ Bintulu counter services to their Director.   Then, JPJ Putrajaya promised to take action, but was not inform what kind of actions will be taken.   Below is my complain:

Sekian, terima kasih.

Sg Plan flat residents deprived of fixed telephone line

On Tuesday, 20/04/2010, I went to TM Point at Medan Raya to inquire about the fixed telephone line at Sg Plan flat area.    I approached the counter and ask the receptionist about the subject.    I was quite disappointed at the reply that I got from that receptionist.    The fixed line for this area is still not available and she did not know when it will be installed.    I asked her, why is it so and she just answer me bluntly, "No idea!".    By the look on her face, she was not comfortable with my asking.    So, without further  question, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

I was told by her earlier that there are currently lots of pending telephone line applications from the residents of the area, but why they delay the implementations / installations?    Why are these people being deprived of this basic facility?   Currently, only the Sg Plan lot and terrace houses were provided with the telekom's fixed line.

Waste of tax payer's money

This small building looks like a "Pondok Polis", but has been unmanned for as long as it has first existed. It is located around Sg Plan area, Jalan Tanjung Kidurong. It was built for reason unknown and now not properly utilised. Doesn't that means the waste of the people's money erecting it and in the end left unused?

Even how simple and small the building is, it must have cost thousands of ringgit, who knows!!!

Squatters along Tg Kidurong

Tanjung Kidurong, Bintulu, Sarawak is where the country’s biggest oil and gas resources originated.   Malaysia LNG contributed largely to Malaysian economy.   Petronas Twin Tower existed due to MLNG.  A large number of work force from Semenanjung came to Tanjung Kidurong Bintulu and made oil and gas industries as their career and rice bowl.  Expatriates from foreign countries also came to Bintulu.  Bintulu is renowned worldwide due to its MLNG plant.

The world only knows about oil and gas extracted from here.  But all along Tanjung Kidurong road, there’s a disease hidden from the world. The diseases are the squatter areas such as Sebatang, Openg, Muzako and BDA Pasir Putih.  If you happen to drop by at one of these areas, you would not believe that there still exist places like that.  I doubt the authority ever care to know about the existence of these squatters.  Even if they know, what have they done?   What effort has the local authority carry out to change them?
